There were only two hours, and nearly a hundred people wanted to speak. I feel that people like Josh at the MBTA do have good intentions and are really trying to help. But it was a "tone-deaf" gesture to show up with a PowerPoint presentation with some inane slides and expect people to sit still through that. This isn't a board meeting, after all.Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02027332620204904993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4183605236529560843.post-18545918291681057762012-01-23T22:14:12.662-05:002012-01-23T22:14:12.662-05:00Matthew,

I have presided over these meetings (former councilman) and we often-times bummed public comments up as gesture of consideration. However, booing or sneering and someone for giving a presentation presentation is uncalled for. It isn't building support for one's position, that is for sure.

However, I do hope the cuts are avoided. Seems when the economy dips, the need for public transit is as important as ever.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09853460697779872933noreply@blogger.com
